UP UP UP

After Conference this afternoon, we had plans for dinner at Ethan's Great Grandma & Grandpa Madden's house (Scot's Grandpa Bob was making hamburgers - a tradition Scot's loved for a long long time).

As soon as we arrived, I looked around the room at all of Grandma Jerri's beautiful & VERY fragile figurines, etc., and began to put some of them up. Ethan quickly caught on to what we were doing & began his own trip around the room, pointing at anything we'd left down low that he thought looked interesting and & said "up, up, up". After we all had a good laugh, I was extremely pleased with his efforts to avoid temptation.

Ethan also started saying "Bob" tonight. At first, we weren't sure he made the connection of "Bob" with Great Grandpa, but after a few minutes - there was no doubt about it. When I went to put him into bed tonight, I said "thank you for being such a good boy today" and he looked up at me, smiled & said "Bob". He knew that got a good reaction from everyone during dinner, and it certainly worked for me again tonight. Oh, how I love that little boy.
