It was a beautiful day today, so I decided to venture out on a walk with Ethan & Dylan before we went to dinner with Grandma Judie and Scot (Grandpa's out of town). As I walked into the garage to get the jogging stroller, I noticed the hugest spider crawling near Dylan's paw (not quite as close as you see in the picture, but for sake of getting the conveying the size, I moved the spider closer to Dylan but made no other modifications). I didn't want to step on it because, as you can see, that would've left more than I wanted on the bottom of my shoe...so I grabbed a large shovel and scooped him out into the yard. I will only regret my decision not to kill the spider if somehow he ends up in my house. Otherwise - happy halloween spooky spider.

After dinner tonight, Ethan wanted to walk around the outside of the restaurant with Scot. (Well actually, he took off running & Scot went after him - they came back hand in hand & retraced their steps around the restaurant a couple times). It was getting a little windy tonight, so everytime Ethan's hood would blow off, he'd stop walking & pat his head saying "hat" until Scot fixed it. Apparently his feet don't work if his head's not covered.

When we got home, I was anxious to take my boots off (I'm not used to wearing close toed shoes yet I suppose). The moment I set them down, Ethan sat down to pull them on. He had some trouble actually standing up because they were riding a little too high in the crotch and the heels were hard for him to stand on. It looked to me like he was a little saddle sore. ; ) What a nut.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from Ethan and Scot playing together tonight.
