In answer to Sarah's challenge, these are a few of my favorite things...:
A Few Jobs I've Had: from my days in college and on, American Express (2 summers - gold card division), NuSkin International (receptionist for the 6th floor for a short time, an archivist in Creative Services & then Account Manager in Creative Services) , The Brand Consultancy (Client Relations Manager), The United States Olympic Committee (Marketing Dept. Brand Integration & Standards).Guilty pleasures: delicious chocolate desserts, massages (though I'd technically consider that a pleasure that I never actually feel guilty about), free time, naps
Places I have lived: New Jersey, Wisconsin, Indiana, Utah, California, Washington DC & Colorado
Shows I enjoy: The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, So You Think You Can Dance (Summer only), Dancing with the Stars, House, The Biggest Loser, American Idol...I know what you're thinking, but I typically fold laundry and clean while I'm watching.
Some of the Places I have been on Vacation: A short list of spots I've been to since I've been married, Maui, Bahamas, St. John, St. Thomas, Virgin Gorda, Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, Aspen, Winter Park, Arizona, Durango, but to name a few...
Favorite foods: I LOVE good Mexican food. When I was pregnant with Ethan, Scot lovingly referred to me as his little Mexican. ( : I love all food really - Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italian & even American (which is really a combo of all foods, right?) it's really hard for me to pick a favorite.
Websites I visit daily: Blogs, Google, Yahoo, FaceBook,Body parts I have injured: broke a toe, stitches by my left eye when I was about 3
Nicknames I have had: Kris, Krissy, Kristi, Krissalina, Barbie, Teen,
Movies I Never Stop Watching: any of the Bourne movies, Pride and Prejudice, Waiting for Guffman, ....the list could go on and on - I love movies!
Biggest Pet Peeves-Like my sister Sarah, I'm extremely peeved when traffic is merging into one lane due to construction/accident/etc., and in lieu of following the arrows that direct cars to merge & waiting like the rest of the world, a procession of impatient drivers continue on down the closed lane until the last possible moment before they cut over. That bugs.
- I dislike having to repeat myself over and over again before someone can actually tune out the TV/radio etc. to hear what I'm saying.
- When we're the only people in the movie theatre and the next group comes in and sits in the row right in front of us, in back OR in our same row. There's an entire theatre people - pick another spot.
- When someone turning into an intersection pulls out right in front of me - forcing me to apply the brakes until they can actually get up to the speed limit. I'm sure it wouldn't kill them to wait the 15 seconds until there weren't any cars, but no...
Places I Would Rather Be...sleeping (any mother can relate), with family & friends, in a hammock on the edge of the beach in Maui, getting a massage
