BOY IN A BOX

Shortly after we finished breakfast this morning, I decided that today was the day to finish decorating our Christmas tree. Ethan was a big helper - he carefully removed every ornament within reach as they were placed on the tree. It took quite some time to convince him that they were to actually more fun for him to look at ON the tree. He might have bought that for the ornaments, but in his mind it did not apply to the decorative glass bulbs/balls (whatever you call them). He ended up in time out for pulling those off the tree countless times today - I have a feeling time out will be a popular spot for him this Christmas season. Let's hope not.

After giving up on the destruction of my tree, he emptied a nearby box & pushed it over to the base of the tree & climbed in. I guess it's true what they say, good things do come in small packages...

Our tree is decorated from the reaching level of Ava's hand up. Cute photo. We've been having lots of fun with boxes lately.

Clever small packages comment. I feel like Ethan looks older in every pic I see. Can't believe it. So cute.

McKinley and Sage love to take the ornaments off the tree too. I have the breakables up high and the others are somewhat clumped together where they hung them on the bottom limbs. They like to take them off and play with them, but if they don't put them back, I put them up high. McKinley of course gets this concept more than Sage. Good luck with Ethan.:)
