Ethan came running into the kitchen this morning with a look of sheer delight and grabbed my hand to lead me to his latest source of joy. Who'd have guessed that we would've ended up in the laundry room - certainly not me (though I do enjoy a fresh load of clean laundry). He was having the best time watching the washing machine in motion & wanted me to have a looksy too. If you're wondering, my face did not emanate the same sheer delight that Ethan felt about the washer itself, but I do delight in Ethan's entertainment from simple household appliances. Just wait till I show him the rice cooker... ( :
I'll update on Scot's condition again later - I still don't have any news worthy info.

He is so dang cute. I wish I were still so young and naive that I got excited about seeing the wash go around in the washing machine!
He is so adorable! You could really capitalize on his interests and get a little help with the laundry. I say start him young and have him sort and load the close while he's still interested. :)
Ok . . . I just about laughed my head off after looking at my comment just now. I must be pregnant to have spelled clothes like I'm closing the door. I noticed I had an extra word in Becky's blog comment that doesn't fit at all. Hopefully my brain will return in another month! :)
