FULL OF SURPRISES

I learned a few things today:

1. Scot does not like any egg white to appear on his french toast. From what I understand, his mom used to have to blend the eggs in a blender so that the egg white was undetectable. He claims it's something he's worked past, but not something he can stomach while he was sick. It's been noted.

2. Ethan loves to help make cookies. Tonight - we made Snickerdoodles (one of my favorites). Ethan has a fondness for the cookie scoop in particular, but taste testing the cookies was by far his favorite part. Hot & fresh from the oven...who doesn't love that? He calls cookies "cook cook" which, I believe, is what Scot called them when he was a baby as well. Like father, like son.

3. Jared & Tiffany (Scot's youngest sister) are expecting their 3rd baby in May. We're thrilled for you!! (And of course Cara & Ted, who are expecting baby #4, a little boy, in March). We're looking forward to having more Woolley cousins!

4. Ken & Brandi Bell (& Savannah + baby on the way) will move back to Colorado if we can help to find them a job here. (That is true motivation! Brandi was my roommate when I moved Colorado & she and Ken are some of our closest friends). Let the search begin.

5. The missionaries will all soon be living in members homes. This gives new meaning to the phrase "Many are called, but few are chosen." Good luck to you if you're chosen.

I'm off to bed.

I'm so glad to hear that Scot is on the mend--that stuff is scary!!!
You better be careful spouting off about missionaries in member's homes---from your lips to God's ears...and Travis and I don't want either of our rooms taken.

Kris, haven't you told Shauri that one of those rooms is mine and Justin's?! Boy howdy am I glad that Scot is on the road back to good health. You are a good wife, I would probably just not make the french toast if Justin was so picky about the egg whites!

I too am glad that Scot is home and on the road to recovery (hopefully not too long a road). Ethan sure knows what's good if you ask me. I love cookies too. He looks so cute peering over the edge of the bowl!
