Apparently my mom mic is not working cause Ethan rarely hears a word I say when it relates to stopping unwanted behaviour. Just another little something for me to work on... any tips? (His time-out typically doesn't produce more than a good "Sorry", which sounds more like "Sawee", & then he tends to watch me more carefully as he returns to his recently punished behaviour). For the most part, he's an absolute gem - but he's definitely taking me for a test drive to see how I handle. I'll report back with the results when he's 16. Scratch that - make that 21.

I'd say the sorry is a pretty good step. I wish I could get even that.
