Ethan has become a little sucker for our new Dyson hand-held vac. He squeals with joy as he cleans, which isn't something we often hear in our house while doing housework is being done. I welcome his enthusiasm & assistance. (NOTE: The enthusiasm was cut short when the battery on the vac died not long into his cleaning. He didn't understand the need to recharge the battery...which is something we all need a little bit of these days.)

was that reference to being a "sucker" for the vacuum intentional, or just pure genius?! and yes! i can't believe that you and Lori are in the same ward. i love it. now, if you have any connections with a GI fellowship program at UofColorado, we just might be headed your way a lot sooner! matt is applying as we speak to all sorts of programs, but we'd LOVE to be in CO with you.if not now, maybe in 3 more years? :)
I'd say encourage the cleaning while he's young. That looks like a cool vacuum . . . maybe I would squeel with delight while using it too. ;)
i want one of those, too! he is so cute. isn't it great that the kids love to "help" so much?
