9/4 - Since they gave us a room on the 3rd floor, I thought a baggage cart would come in handy, so I brought one up to the room when Ethan and Scot went swimming. We had the cart pretty well packed up when Ethan decided to climb aboard. Scot let him ride the cart all the way down to the car & Ethan loved every minute of it.
As we packed up the car, June Carter and Johnny Cash singing "We're going to Jackson" kept playing on repeat in my mind, well at least until Ethan's Elmo video started up & then I was off to Elmo's world (again). I'm happy to report (& extremely relieved) that Ethan did take a rather lengthy nap today on the last leg of our trip to Jackson. Scot and I were able to actually enjoy some of our own music on once Ethan drifted off into dreamland, which was a welcome change of pace. When we arrived, we did some grocery shopping and then off to the townhouse to meet up with Rob, Roberta, Anna Claire & Mariah. Ethan lived up to the "kissing cousins" phrase, and Mariah was a really good sport about it (let's just say, Anna Claire didn't love it quite as much). I'm just glad he's a lover - not a fighter.
