THANKSGIVING

Ethan had a great time at our Thanksgiving feast - he sat on the floor in the dining room surrounded by toys while the rest of us sat at the table feasting on fixin's. Judging by the dirty bib, I'd say he had his fair share of feasting as well.

After receiving rave reviews from Lizzy, I willingly scooped up a serving of the sweet potatoes this year (I recognize this is not a very impressive feat for most, but for me it's almost like eating a banana). Lizzy was right, they were delicious, and I must HIGHLY recommend Aunt Marcia's recipe. As soon as I get my hands on it, I'll post it for all to enjoy. Everything was delicious, and I was especially thankful that I was not assigned to prepare and cook the turkey(...my first Thanksgiving in Washington D.C. I was not so lucky. I still love you Camille, Sam & Matt).

Ethan had a great time entertaining everyone - which shouldn't come as a huge surprise. He has been really stable on his feet lately, and he stood at the coffee table for quite some time. He was SO proud of himself.

Hope you all enjoyed a very Happy Thanksgiving.
