Today was a beautiful day in Colorado...76 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. We all woke up early this morning, Scot left home around 6:30 to make it to Denver in time for a 7:30 conference call & Ethan and I got up shortly before he left.
Ethan was still having some constipation issues this morning, so we skipped the advice of our Dr.'s office (which hasn't helped for days now), and went with Becky's advice - which worked like a charm within a minute. Thank you Becky! We'll be calling you instead of our Dr.'s office from now on.
I took Ethan in to get his 6 month portraits taken this morning. He had just woken up from a nap and I tried to feed him again before we left, but he was so happy that I thought he'd be fine. When we got to the studio, he was good for a few minutes and then things quickly took a turn for the worst. I tried shaking every familiar toy we had in the stroller to try and make him laugh or smile, but we had little success & the photoshoot ended in tears (they weren't mine). I
chose one of the two semi-smile shots they captured and we were off towards the car. Funny thing was, he was perfectly happy before we arrived at the studio and perfectly happy when we left. What a stinker. I think we'll be heading back in for round 2 in a couple weeks, you know what they say - better luck next time.
I spent a little time with Ethan and Dylan in the yard today - it was so pleasant outside that I thought Ethan might enjoy sitting in the grass (even though it's getting a little dry). Let's just say he wasn't sure he wanted
to be sitting anywhere except on my lap. I captured a few photos of Ethan & Dylan together - looks like we'll have to work up to more happy photos in the future.

he's so cute! Reminds me of many pictures of my kids with Jackson...who's birthday was yesterday...he would've been 18!
