Things have been a little crazy around here for the past week, which would explain the lack of blogs. We finally have a For Sale sign in our front yard - which is great after a month of waiting (long story). Scot will be plesantly surprised when he returns from his weekend fishing trip to Wyoming.
We had our carpets cleaned this week, and the man (Jason from Anderson Carpet Cleaning) absolutely loved Ethan. Every time he would walk through the front room he would stop to make some comment like "he has the most perfectly shaped head" or "his eyes are beautiful aren't they?". I thought it was pretty funny...and very nice of course.
The rash on Ethan's neck has sprung up again. He's not spitting up nearly as much as he used to, but when he does the moisture still gets trapped in his no-neck. The Dr. refilled his prescription for Nystatin yesterday, which will hopefully help us to get rid of this rash forever. Ethan is growing fast, so I'm sure before long he'll have a neck & we won't have this problem. This week, Ethan has had an obsession with his tongue. The other night, he was sticking it out and blowing - to which I respond with the same. He thought that was great fun and, as usual, he loved the interaction. The other day I was on the phone with Sarah and started laughing at the story she was telling me - Ethan spontaneously started laughing too. The more I laughed the harder he laughed - I wish I had it on tape.
Last weekend when we were at Grandma & Grandpa Woolley's house, Grandma gave Ethan some kitchen toys to keep him busy while we ate. Since that day, he LOVES tupperware of every shape and size, measuring spoons, lids - yo
u name it. He's got a new job as inspector 38, and he's pretty accurate about taste and durability. If you need any recommendations - he's your guy.I better get a few other things done while Ethan is napping, so I'm signing off...I'm hoping for better luck with the blogging this week.
