HOW 'BOUT A HAND

Ethan loves playing at Grandma & Grandpa's house, and because our Realtor was having an open house Friday AND Saturday, he had a LOT of playing time. Ethan sat on the floor perfectly content for long stretches of time. He's at such a fun stage & is so happy and responsive, which we love.

We tried to avoid the "Black Friday" shopping, but I did want to see if I could find some new black boots, so after we went to Costa Vida for lunch, we went in 2 cars over to DSW so that Steve and Scot could leave (after a quick browse) to go to the fly shop. Scot had driven our car to DSW and accidentally left with the car keys in his pocket. Knowing that the boys were going to be stopping by the house on their way to the fly shop, Judie and I called the house countless times hoping to get them when they walked in the door...we were VERY lucky. If we hadn't caught them, we probably would've had enough time to try on every pair of shoes in the store (ok, maybe not, but it would've been a very long wait). Ethan did a great job of entertaining the DSW employees and other weary shoppers while we waited. So sweet.
By the way, I did find some great boots. Hope you were all successful in your shopping (if you braved the crowds). That's it from me.
