I
never turn down a gospel teaching opportunity - but he then announced "I am going to read about Jesus all by myself."
As he flipped the pages, he'd stop at the pictures that he was familiar with and tell me about them, or he'd say "what's this one about?". We got to the back portion of the binder where there are pictures of a few of the earliest temples, and Ethan stopped and pointed at each temple picture (Kirtland, Nauvoo and SLC specifically) and said "This is a temple. I live there. I lived there with Jesus." It's little wonder why Jesus loves little children...I have a lot of work to do to become just like Ethan.* Scot just told me that today when they were at the movie, Ethan (out of nowhere) looked at him and said "Heavenly Father loves me, and Bob loves me, and Jesus loves me". (As in Bob the Builder).
