MY GUITAR HERO

It was a beautiful day today, but a little too cold to play outside with Brynn for very long...not to mention Ethan aborted his sidewalk chalking after a brief stint claiming it was just too cold. Instead, we spent the day reading books, making a pretend pot of stone soup (at Ethan's request), dancing and playing the guitar, doing laundry (well, that was really my activity), and building a number of pretend buildings. It was a fabulous day. During our morning guitar/dancing session, Ethan decided that his hand guitar just wasn't cutting it (as noted in previous posts, his hand guitar is when he puts one hand on his stomach and strums that hand with his other hand). He moved on to bigger and better - the light saber guitar (which he said needed a strap to go over his shoulder like real guitars). His guitar sound effects did not receive, or need any upgrading for that matter. He added the hard hat and gloves when he was working on his heavy metal performance. Safety first.

Brynn spent a good portion of the time dancing with us, but when things got a little too wild - she cheered us on from the sidelines with squeals, smiles and coos.

CLASSIC! Love the blue rope strap, it adds to the whole look and feel!

wish ethan could come play in the band with caroline & gavin (prefers the drums). could be reminiscent of pocket change?! perhaps with a heavy metal twist. also, brynn is BEAUTIFUL.
