TALKIN' SHOP

Ethan was invited over to do some "work" today by our good friends Linda and Bruce Hancock. By "work" I mean he was invited over to build a birdhouse, amongst other things. He's always spoiled at the Hancock's house, so naturally he woke up and could hardly wait to get there to see, and I quote "Bruce and his tools and Linda and her green bird gloves that she keeps in the box with the bird blanket." Ahhh, a boy that knows what he wants. ( : When we pulled up, Ethan could see Bruce in the garage building some cabinets, surrounded by countless man tools, such as table saws, etc. (Bruce doesn't mess around...). Ethan could hardly wait to get out of the car so that he could get in on the action. Brynn and I stayed for a few minutes, and when we could tell Ethan was not interested in having us there anymore, we took off. He did manage to tell me that he'd need his safety goggles before we left, to go along with the "protective earmuffs" (Ethan's words) that Bruce loaned him. I wasn't there to see the building of the birdhouse etc. but Linda was kind enough to take pictures to document the activity.
Needless to say, when I got there, Ethan crawled up on the couch next to Linda in the living room, readjusted some pillows and laid there like he owned the place. Talk about comfortable in someone elses home. Thanks Bruce and Linda! Ethan had a blast.
