FIRETRUCK

Ethan and I made a firetruck today out of 2 garland boxes that I had emptied while starting to decorate for Christmas. We made it as complete as possible, ladder and all. Upon completion, he had to rush off to attend to a fire. If you look at the picture closely, you can almost hear the sound effects. (He carried that ladder with him on many rescue missions - in this picture, he's giving his version of a thumbs up after a successful climb). He was having so much fun, he insisted that Brynn wanted to drive in the firetruck with him. He told me I could put her on his lap. It was absolutely adorable, and he was right - she LOVED being in the firetruck with him. Here are a few pics of our fire friends.

What a fun thing. After all the toys, it's still hard to beat a cardboard box! Brynn is so cute. They just grow too fast.
