GERM-A-PHOBE IN THE MAKING

This morning I found Ethan cleaning his toy in the same way that I disinfect the cart handles at the grocery store. (Just for the record, our grocery store provides the wipes near the carts...I don't actually have to dig into my bag to find my Lysol wipes).

Ethan and I stopped by Target this afternoon to pick up a couple things on our Christmas list. When we got to the checkout, a nice elderly man named Hank was ringing us up. Ethan took one look at his bald head & glasses and pointed at him with a big smile and said "BOB". It took me a minute to figure out that Hank reminded him of his Great Grandpa Bob, so I told Hank it was probably because they had the same haircut. ( :

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS to my little sister Angela & her husband Roy on the birth of their third baby (and first boy)!! River Carson Spaulding was born last night around 10:20 (give or take a minute...). He is 7 lbs 12 oz and 21 in long. I have no doubt that McKinley and Sage are extremely happy to have a new brother in time for Christmas...though maybe not quite as excited as Angela. ( :

I love the stories about Ethan -- he's quite the character. Thanks for the little congrats to us. I am relieved to get River here before Christmas.:)

It's amazing how much they mimic! My neighbor's little boy just started saying "oh crap" over and over again and she realized it was because she says it all the time. They are little sponges. Ethan is a doll.

That's funny, Max's Grandpa Bob has that same haircut too.

Do ALL men named Bob have the same haircut???

The answer to that question would be yes Shauri...with the exception of Bob's Big Boy - he's got a full head. Didn't they know the deal when they named that guy BOB?
