It was a beautiful, sunny day so I decided to take Ethan and Dylan over to the park (even though everything was covered in snow). Ethan, as always, was thrilled to be there...but he was not interested in walking through the snow to get to any of the play equipment. I carried him to the swings & he sat for a while watching Dylan run wild through the park (and laughed a good majority of the time cause Dylan loved rolling in the snow etc.).
After a good amount of time on the swings, he decided he was ready to venture on to some other stuff, so I helped him down & set his feet onto the snow. The first words out of his mouth were "Ugh Ohhh, Snow...PLEASE!" Which translates into I'm not interested in walking through it - so pick me up, I beg of you. I ended up carrying him from station to station where he would stand on his own 2 feet so long as there was no snow underneath them. Yes, this is our little Colorado boy. ( : Let's hope his love for snow will change in the coming years.
* All my photos from this day were accidentally deleted from my camera. BUMMER - they were pretty funny. Oh well.
