KETCHUP CHASER

We went to dinner tonight with Great Grandma Jerri & Grandpa Bob, Grandpa Steve, Grandma Judie, Aunt Tiff & Jacob to G&G Madden's favorite mexican restaurant (Uncle Jared & Sam didn't make it - they were in a car headed back from skiing). Towards the end of the meal (where Ethan dined on a cheese quesedilla & french fries), we looked over to see Ethan trying to polish off his favorite portion of the meal - his ketchup. It's a first, but given his obvious love of the condiment, I have a feeling this won't be the last. (For the record, it was Heinz Ketchup, which means that he did not end up actually drinking any because he did not know to hold the cup at 90 degree angle and tap the side.) ( :

I wish I would've gotten a photo of the funniest portion of the meal...Grandpa Bob brought a huge ax to send home for Jared. The rest of the people in the restaurant must have thought we were all nuts when he pulled it out from under the table, but Steve made sure that they all knew that he brought it so that we could "split the check".
Be safe in your travels to Arizona, Grandma Jerri & Grandpa Bob!

I love it! My kids will dip the same fry, chicken nugget, apple, or any food into the ketchup over and over just to lick off the ketchup. It's slightly distrurbing, but hasn't seemed to affect their health up to this point. :)

One of Claire's favorite words is "dip" too - and she will dip any food into any condiment. UGH!

"so we can split the check"...that is hilarious. I love Scot's parents and grandparents. One more reason we need to move to Colorado:)

That's so funny. Just today, Sage got the ketchup out of the fridge when I asked what she'd like to eat for lunch.
