Well...that wasn't what he was probably
dreaming of for his birthday party - 
but we all had a marvelous time today.
Ethan was fearless and went on all the roller coasters (well, all butone, he thought the drop looked a little too intense...and he was probably right). On his very first roller coaster ride, Ethan and Scot sat in the very front (see picture). I was so proud of Ethan for being so brave, and he appeared to love every minute of it. Brynn would've been on every ride no doubt, but she was just a little too short to meet the minimum ride requirements for the 99.9% of the rides. Sigh. She was adorable though - she was so excited (and somewhat content) to watch Ethan and Daddy ride the rides - she would jump up and down waving and calling their names until they acknowledged her 
with a wave in return. Adorable, I wish I could've bottled that up.I have to document that Ethan has been using a new phrase the last few days (I'm not sure
where he heard it, but it makes me laugh everytime he says it) "Mother Nature sure goofed on this one."
He uses it at the funniest times & it always fits the situation. Hilarious.
Most importantly - HAPPY 39TH BIRTHDAY SCOT!
We are so lucky to have been able
to celebrate all day with you.
We love you and feel so lucky to have you in our lives. I hope you make the most of this year...cause next year it's all black balloons and over the hill jokes for you. ( : XOXO.

Bryn looks like her Mommy. Looks like a fun way to spend a birthday. So good, in fact, that I'd just keep having those 39th birthdays over and over....oh yeah....I already do that....
