I KNOW WHAT I WANT

Yesterday (4/18), we had a monster snowstorm - actually, I don't think it's stopped snowing for 2 days now. It's payback for the mild winter we've had in Colorado. Ethan was anxious to get outside and play in the snow, so after I got him bundled up, I went in search of my snow gear. When I was finally ready, I called for Ethan there was no response. I soon found him asleep on the living room floor. He rallied after a few minutes, and was ready to go play. We had a great time being snowed in together.

Grandma Judie and Grandpa Steve came over today for dinner. After dinner, we were talking about Ethan's upcoming 3rd birthday, which is now just 3 days away. We were asking him what he wanted, and then Ethan told Grandma that they needed to go look online. I kept hearing him say "Yeah, that's what I want." Ethan was very certain that he wanted Grandma Judie and Grandpa Steve to give him a truck that came with Batman and Robin (whom he calls the green guy...he thinks Robin is the comic character named Green Arrow. I just found out Green Arrow really exhisted the other day. Clearly I'm way out of the comic character loop).

- When Ethan wants something to eat, like a snack, a cookie, a drink, etc., he'll hint by saying: "I'm running out of gas."

- I have been hearing Ethan exclaim "Ohhh, darnit." quite a bit lately.
