We had Ethan's 3 year checkup today with our Dr's PA, Brian Englund. Ethan was hilarious the entire time & had Brian laughing...their banter is always entertaining, but they were talking about potty training, food, being a big brother - they covered pretty much everything. They went through all the recognition exercises (colors, shapes, animals), the jumping, touching toes, etc. and then during the actual exam, Brian got out his stethascope to listen to his heart & Ethan was exaggerating his breathing in and out (very funny), and then he'd ask "what are you going to do next Brian?"
Ethan's 3 year stats are:
Weight: 34 lbs (75%)Height: 39 inches (80%)
The PA, Brian, thinks Ethan will probably be around 6'3". I believe that is around the same height he predicted at his 2 year appointment. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
At her 9 month appointment, Brian asked me to have them do a weight check on Brynn when we came in for Ethan. At 10 months, her stats are:
Weight: 17 lbs. 14 oz. (35%) Height: 27 1/4"(50%)
She's a skinny little thing - and is easy to carry around. She moves all over the place & seems like she's preparing to walk soon. She can pull herself up on everything without much effort, waves and says "HI" (not always, but she's been pretty consistent with the Hi sound when waving at people), does sign language for "finished", is getting her second tooth, tries to climb up the stairs (she's been climbing the step between the family room and the kitchen ever since she started crawling). She's progressing faster than I can even keep up with. She loves her big brother, and lights up and turns to see him whenever he enters a room (or whenever she can hear his voice). It's so sweet to watch them together.
