Yesterday, I was putting some food downstairs in our food storage and Ethan was walking on a very slow moving treadmill and said "Is it okay if I watch a little show while I workout?"

Speaking of food storage, we've been on a mission to get a bunch of stuff for our emergency preparedness. Scot has single handedly gotten our camping gear up to 4 star status. Yesterday, the boxes started arriving from Cabelas...I think the UPS man was wondering what the deal was with all the boxes. He did mention to me that he thought most people ordered stuff for hunting at the beginning of the season. I laughed and told him that my husband wasn't much of a hunter, he just liked to be prepared for every occassion.

I think our UPS guy now thinks we're officially crazy. I'm sure I'll be seeing our UPS man again very soon - we've only received half of Scot's order. Did I mention that Scot

ordered a tent with a wood burning stove? No kidding. Camping comfort. Clearly he's made the investment for more than the Woolley family emergency preparedness, there's a boyscout clondoree campout coming up, which is basically camping in freezing cold weather...his tent will be a virtual sauna - pimped out with a stove, XL cots, and as far as I know, digital TV (ok, so no TV, but he'll put my Union 5th ward girls camp experiences to shame - and I thought that was luxury camping). The shipping boxes were more exciting for Ethan than the gear inside. That won't last long. Way to get us prepared Scot - we'll all thank you for that someday (hopefully not soon).

I'm proud of you for having food storage. I have been working on that myself, but it is a never ending process I guess.
