ETHAN PHRASE OF THE DAY

Tonight while getting Ethan prepped for bed, he was playing with a little matchbox firetruck that Gramma Lydia and Grampa Warren had sent to him. It has a ladder that extends and swivels around, and Ethan often pops the extention section off the ladder just so he can put it back on again. He focused so intently on getting it put back together correctly, which he did - and then he popped it off again so that he could fix it another time. While trying to be patient with the process, and still foster the confidence in him to do it himself, I encouraged him to hurry and offered to help him so that we could get him into his bed. He looked at me straight faced and said "No, no, no...not so fast." I'm not sure where he heard that, but Scot and I both got a good laugh from that one.
