KRISTMAS' KIDS

I recognize that the title of this blog is a little strange to many, but some years ago, my friends, The Cochran's, daughter Ella used to call me Kristmas...because she thought that was my name. Hence the title. At any rate, I can't believe it's already the Sunday before Christmas! This year has gone by so quickly and has brought with it so many unbelievable blessings. We have added another special member to our family, and the day after Christmas, she will hit her 6 month mark. It's all gone by so fast, and looking back - I can't believe I was ever worried about losing my alone time with Ethan. I truly can't imagine life without our amazingly adorable little Brynn. She's almost too good to be true (I say almost because we're working on the "sleep through the night...let her cry it out" phase). Ethan and Brynn have a very special bond and their eyes light up when they see each other and spend time together. It's a huge blessing to be a mother, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity that is mine to raise these amazing little spirits. I'm also thankful for Scot. He's such a great husband, father, friend & everything else.
Tonight as I was getting Ethan in bed, I layed by him for a little while and he kept whispering "I love you mom" and I'd whisper "I love you Ethan" and after a few exchanges... he whispered my favorite phrase as of late "I love you to the Home Depot Mom". That's the farthest thing he can think of - and in his mind in many ways he thinks it's better than the moon. I must say - his love has been the biggest home improvement we could've ever hoped for. In keeping with that, I love you to the Home Depot Ethan, Brynn & Scot.
