NOW I'M THE MOM...

that goes into Target with their child dressed up like this. I can say that he drew quite a bit of positive attention.
We took Brynn in to her 2 month Dr's appointment today (yes, she's 2 1/2 months, but we've been out of town for the last month and got the okay to come in a couple weeks late). Thankfully for me, they have combined 3 of the shots into 1 so Brynn only had to get 3 shots in lieu of 5. Ethan and I were both able to get our flu shots today as well, so Brynn didn't have to brave the evil world of immunizations alone. I'm proud to announce that only 1 of the 3 of us cried...
The nurse was so impressed with how brave Ethan had been that she let him pick out a toy from the treasure chest. The cars and other items didn't attract his attention, but these red flip up sunglasses sure did. He proudly put them on and walked with me back to the car saying "the nurse gave me a high five and said good job." Yes, a job well done in deed, I had braced myself for the worst too. Way to go Ethan. I stopped to pick up a bow for Brynn at Ethan's hair salon and left him (& a sleeping Brynn) in the car with a Capri Sun for 30 seconds & came back to find that he had poked all 4 of the plastic lenses out of the glasses. A little Sally Jesse Rafael if you ask me, but who am I to judge.

Ethan cracks me up, I am sure Sally Jesse would be honored that he likes her style! I love that he has an obsession with gloves.
