GOOD IDEAS ALL AROUND

It's finally time for me to stop procrastinating & get this blog updated with some recent photos of Brynn and Ethan. I have a lot of blog entries that have been in the works for months, and I am bound and determined to just add photos and get the darn things published...so if you're interested in photos, hopefully there will soon be a number to look at. I'll do my best to update quickly.

Why have I stayed away so long? Well, for starters, it's difficult for me to find uninterrupted time. For example, today Ethan was pulling my hair as I was working on the computer, so after asking him a number of times to stop (he thought it was some sort of funny game we were playing), I put him in time out. He kept laughing and saying "It's time for me to get off the chair now". After repeatedly returning him to the chair I finally said "I'll let you get off the chair if you're ready to say sorry for pulling my hair". He looked at me with a smile, laughed and in a somewhat sarcastic voice said "well, that's a good idea". I tried to hide my laughter while he came to give me a kiss and then I swiftly left the room. He is one funny kid.

Brynn is growing up WAY too fast. She loves her play mat these days (which she's pictured on above) and has started holding toys on her own. She goos and talks quite a bit now, which I can't seem to get enough of...it's just so darn cute. Ethan absolutely adores her (sometimes a little too much), and is often heard calling her "my darling" (which he picked up from Grandma Judie), "sweetie" or his nickname for her that caught on like New Kids on the Block in the 80's -"Brynnie". I love you Brynn and Ethan.
