After returning home from a family walk around the neighborhood tonight, pulling Ethan in his wagon, we sat down on the couch together to watch a little tv. Scot started flipping through the channels and paused on Dancing With the Stars (noting that I was recording it to watch later) and with a roll of his eyes, he made a comment under his breath about how dumb that show was (I know - boo hiss) and he turned to a football game. I hadn't said a word, but moments later Ethan looked at Scot and said "Mom wants to watch the dancing show." Scot and I looked at eachother and laughed - and naturally Scot agreed with Ethan and turned it back. Way to look out for your mom Ethan...that's my boy.
Scot decided that since we were going to be watching a dancing show, he would chase Ethan and wrestle - Ethan could tell by the look Scot had on his face that the fun was going to start but he quickly defended himself by saying "Dad, you can't wrestle me cause I have a runny nose."
Last night we went to Scot's parents house for dinner. All the boys went downstairs afterwards to catch the first part of 60 minutes. Ethan went down with them but went into the kids playroom and emerged with a Kleenex box that had Ratatouille's face on it. He showed it to Scot's cousin, JD. JD asked him if he had seen that movie and Ethan said "Yeah, I used to watch Ratatouille when I was a little boy".
