I was 100% sure that we were going to have a boy...but I was 100% incorrect. There is nothing boy about this little girl. ( :
We're really excited to have one of each in our family. By Friday, we'll be 22 weeks down, with 18 left to prepare for her arrival (if she comes on time). I was also surprised to learn that I've only gained a whopping 4 lbs. to date...I'm hoping that I can keep that up so that I won't have much to lose in the end. The biggest weight gain of the pregnancy is obviously still to come as the baby grows. I gained 28 with Ethan and he was a week overdue, so I guess we'll see. Wish me luck.

Yeh!!! I'm so happy for you guys! I hope you're ready to shop, shop, shop! The cute litte "accessories" will clean out your wallet. Congrats!
Congrats!!! Little girls are so much fun. And you are my idol with gaining so little weight. I'm 20 weeks and have probably already put on 20 lbs - ugh!!! Oh well it will give me something to do after the baby comes, I love the challenge of losing weight :)
Congratulations! I had no idea you were expecting a little one. I'm excited for you to have a little girl. She will be so beautiful and I hope she gets your curls!
That is great news! I'm glad you made the announcement official (it seems you were outed on a comment board of a previous post). I tend to put on a lot of weight while preg. With Emma my dr. kept saying,"It's better to put on too much weight than too little." Somehow, I didn't find that too consoling.
I also had no idea that you were expecting. I guess that goes to show what kind of friend I am. Sorry! I am so excited for you. She is going to be a darling little girl. I can only hope that at 21 weeks, when I am pregnant, I will have only gained 4 pounds.

congratulations! and preggos with a little girl! I'm so excited for you and your ubercute family. :) My parents move back to CO in July, so I will be coming to CO at least 2/3 times a year, so I'm penning you in for a playdate or two. :) Congrats again.
kris, nice way to spill the beans about your little bundle! so exciting...she looks gorgeous in that ultrasound. :) really, i'm so thrilled for you guys (especially for ethan)
