TITHING SETTLEMENT DANCE PARTY

Brynn dances and sings along to anything and everything. Today we were at the church waiting for tithing settlement, and Scot put Brynn up on this table...which became her "stage" if you will. She danced and sang like a true performer. So cute. I wish I would've also taken a photo of Ethan after he ate the candy cane the Bishop gave to him...his pants were entirely covered with all the goo that were on his hands after he finished up. Like I told the Bishop, it's a good thing he needs a new pair of pants anyway. (I was joking of course, but the Bishop made sure to tell me that it was water soluable. Hilarious).

Tonight, Ethan wanted to play some games for FHE (which he requests that we hold nearly every night...cause he loves to sing the song and play games, at least that's what he says). Sarah and I played 3 games with him tonight - Memory, Hungry Hippos, and kids Phase 10. Ethan was adorable, and would've played games until he fell asleep on the floor, but we decided to call it a night after he swept the game of kids Phase 10. He's getting good. ( : As per usual, Ethan wanted me to snuggle him as he fell asleep, and requested that I tell him stories about when I was a little girl. I try to come up with different stories than the ones I've told him before, so tonight, amidst stories of family roadtrips across the country to visit my grandparents every summer and outings to the Spanish Fork rodeo with my cousin Melinda, I told him that when I was a little girl, I loved to play with my dolls and pretend that I was a mommy. I told him that it was so great because now I was a mommy, so my dreams had come true - he looked at me and started laughing and said "That's not a story about when you were a little girl."
