8/3 - Happy Birthday Grandma Woolley! We all went to dinner together tonight at Santoro's to celebrate Grandma Judie's big day. Post dinner, Ethan was still drooling over the food. ( : We sent Scot and Grandpa Steve to CJ's to pick up an ice cream or frozen custard pie/cake & on their way to meet up with us at the Woolley's, they stopped for some other party "must haves" i.e. flowers and a card. Ethan absolutely LOVED the card Grandma got from Grandpa - when the card opened it played Shania Twain's song "You're still the one". Ethan started swaying back and forth - really feeling the music. He carried the card around opening and shutting it for quite some time, always managing to bust out a sway or head bob to the music.
We had been playing outside on the deck while we were waiting for the boys to return, and without much warning, the rain started up. We each grabbed a couple of the outdoor cushions inside to bring inside in order to prevent the inevidable "wet hiney" spot had they been left out to soak. Ethan made himself comfortable on one of the cushions and did a little light reading while talking to someone on the phone. Whoever said that boys couldn't multitask well never met our Ethan.
