In keeping with Becky and her friends’ tradition (in other words…I’m a copycat), and because this is a VERY monumental occasion, here are 40 (that’s right, I said 40…but I could certainly list more) things I love about my brother Matt in no particular order:1. Loving
2. Happy
3. Kind & Compassionate
4. Generous
5. Forgiving
6. Charitable
7. EXTREMELY Intelligent
8. Amazing father to his 4 beautiful children
9. Supportive husband and friend to Suzanne
10. Appreciative
11. One of the best Doctors out there… and I’m not just saying that because he’s my brother
12. Loves the Lord
13. Laughs often
14. Plays the violin
15. Is Patient (particularly when teaching his sister chemistry)
16. Is Humble & without guile
17. Loves to learn - and is the only person I know who carries study materials or articles with him to the mall (and every place else)
18. Has the greatest laugh
19. Has a contagious smile
20. Finds joy in the little things (and the big ones too)
21. Can memorize anything
22. Appreciates the arts (classical music, opera, art, literature, etc.)
23. Can cook
24. Can sing
25. Is available at any hour of the day for medical advice, or advice of any other kind
26. At the age of 16, had the most unbelievable afro for a white dude
27. Can watch movies repeatedly and still laugh just as hard the 15th time as he did the first
28. Never gets mad (seriously)
29. Passed the Pediatric boards in the 98th percentile without really studying (no surprise there).
30. Is one of the only people I know who could do his job – and do it well (Pediatric Hematology Oncology Dr.)
31. Loves spending time with his extended family (even though we don’t get to see him very often)
32. Gets better use out of his wardrobe than anyone else I know
33. Speaks Japanese
34. Is a great friend
35. Amazing example
36. Determined to be the best at everything he sets out to do
37. Is loved by everyone
38. Well respected & held in high regard by all who know him
39. Doesn’t LOOK like he’s 40
40. Is one (of two) of the greatest big brothers a girl could ask for
