Brynn had her 2 year check up today. She is still light and long & way advanced in her speech - I believe the Dr. said "she has no problem expressing herself clearly does she?" It's rather amazing. Brynn only needed one vaccination at this appointment, and before we had gone in I told Ethan he didn't have anything to worry about because he wasn't going to have to get any shots.

Brynn only needed one vaccination at this appointment, and before we had gone in I told Ethan he didn't have anything to worry about because he wasn't going to have to get any shots.
When we got in there, Dr. Susie told me that she also recommended that we give Ethan the dosage to cover the changes made made to the vaccine (that now covers 8 more types of illnesses than the vaccine previously covered). In order for insurance companies to cover the charges for that portion of the vaccine, they required that kids get the booster before they turned 5.
That said, we had to do some quick thinking to change Ethan's expectation about getting a shot. He was brave and got the shot without putting up a fight - so along with their usual sticker, they both earned a toy from the Dr.'s treasure chest for making it through their shots. I'll give you one guess as to what they both chose. They earned it, they were both super stars.
