After the rain had stopped, the air was so fresh and perfect that we decided to go for a walk around our neighborhood.
We got the kids in the stroller (well, Ethan got himself in the stroller), which didn't last long cause they both love to walk. Nearly a year ago while on a walk, Aunt Sarah took the kids to a little spot on a path that runs through the neighborhood, they called it their "restaurant". It has since received the name "Ben Tenneys"...a combo of Ethan's current interest in a cartoon called Ben 10, and I'm assuming Denny's (Sarah will have to let me know if that's actually where the ney's came from since she and Ethan named their restaurant - I'm just guessing).

At any rate, nearly every time we walk the mile loop around our neighborhood, Ethan requests that we stop at his restaurant, and we usually oblige.

Ethan and Brynn then make all of us sit on these oversized rocks and order food. They start by asking us what we'd like to eat, we make up something to order & they typically tell us that they don't have that and then they make up some random thing that they actually DO have (which is always very interesting).

We then order and they pretend to make the food and serve it to us. It's delicious, but very expensive... and should you ever go there, just know that they're frequently "out of water". It's adorable. I love to watch Ethan and Brynn at play.
Tonight, Scot was teaching Ethan how to make a grass whistle - he loved it, but had trouble getting his to work. We'll just give it some time. (and there's Dylan in the background, completely uninterested in all the goings on at Ben Tenny's).
