What better day than to tell Scot what an amazing Father he is to our 2 beautiful children. The day Ethan was born, I recall watching Scot as they cleaned Ethan off, wrapped him up and handed him to his Dad. It was a very touching scene to watch Scot as he looked into the face of precious little boy. I will never forget that. With Brynn, the memories of her arriving are very similar, but the process and anxiety during labor and delivery was a little different this time. Scot had been through it once before, and he was more aware of what he was in for. I wouldn't say that Scot was a natural at being a father from the start, because he wasn't - but he's certainly worked hard to become a natural. Ethan and Brynn adore him & love to be with him. Scot often has a little shadow as he works, which he loves and cherishes. On this Father's Day, I hope we've done enough to let Scot know just how much we love and appreciate him for all he does and all that he is. We love you Scotty!

A few highlights from today:
- making breakfast in bed with the kids for their Dad
- watching Ethan and Brynn with their Daddy
- ribs at Steve and Judie's, extra time with Scot's grandparents, Grandma Jerri & Grandpa Bob
- talking with Grampa Warren and Gramma Lydia on Skype today.
- Ethan opened Great Grandma Jerri's car door today and said "I am holding the door for you Grandma, you get in and sit right there.", and then he shut the door and proceeded to go to Grandpa Bob to let him know that he had shut Grandma's door tight. ( : He's learning.
