My friends, Merideth Likes, Sarah Hughes & Lori Allred (and of course all our kids) met at Castle Rock Rec Center for an afternoon of swimming. Brynn and Ethan enjoyed every moment they had in the water.Ethan, who was too busy to stop for a photo, did love running around in the water. I actually discourage him from drinking pool water (which you wouldn't know by this photo). He wasn't actually drinking it, he just liked the way it felt on his face, but I just kept waiting for the spout to shoot up higher so I could catch the unexpected moment. I got tired of waiting, so this will have to do. Nice mom huh?
It was Brynn's maiden voyage in the swimming pool. I set her in the shallow area so that she could splash around...and she absolutely LOVED it. This particular photo is one of my favorites...I only wish the water hadn't steamed up my camera lens. Bummer. 
She was all smiles and squeals.
Brynn even got a little lovin from our friend Nathan. He is almost a year older than Ethan, and he loved kissing her and making her laugh. He was so proud of himself. ( : So cute.Ethan had so much fun partying in the pool with his friends that he didn't want to leave. Surprise surprise. I'm sure we'll be back at the rec center sooner than later.
*Note the shiner that Ethan accidentally gave Brynn a couple days ago. It's a beauty.
