IT'S A BOY!

I had my 20 week ultrasound at my Dr.'s appointment today. Scot and I decided to take Ethan, because we thought after his experience with the cardiologist, he might enjoy seeing that I get tests done like that as well...not to mention, we thought he'd love seeing the baby moving and be with us when we found out whether it was a boy or a girl. He has been telling me for weeks that he thought it was a girl, because he thought Brynn should have a little sister (which is so sweet). I always made sure to mention that it might be a little brother for him, and wanted to make sure he would be prepared for that outcome as well. (*we left Brynn home to take a nap and Sarah watched her in our absence).

While we were waiting to be called back for our appointment at the Dr's office, I told Ethan where he could find some toys in the waiting room. He carefully moved the more feminine toys to the side until he found a toy Batman on a motorcycle (need I say more?). It was at that point that the entire ultrasound took a back seat to the thrill of the toy. We got into the room and my Dr. came in and we started the ultrasound. Every time my Dr. would explain what we were looking at (many times for Ethan's sake), he would look up at the screen and very non-chalantly say "Oh - cool" and then go right back to playing. Hilarious this kid. He was happy with the news that we were having a boy - I believe his exact words were "Oh, cool."

Woolley Baby #3 - we're excited to meet you in October.
