day of school was officially yesterday, today was technically the class graduation and carnival to celebrate the fact that school's out for the summer. Ethan LOVED school this year - we can't wait to return again next year. (2010 Class photo front row LtoR: Sophia, Ashley, Brooke, Nora, Anna, Brandon. Back row LtoR: Avery, Cameryn, Emy, Ms. Betsy, Chris and Ethan. Andrew is missing from the class picture). Ethan loved his class, but his closest friends this year were probably Sophia, Brooke and Chris. Ms. Betsy had a program planned for the kids, and each of them had a part to say in a poem about what they had learned in schoold this year. It was adorable, and Ethan was perfect - spoke out loud and clear. I felt like such a proud mom. After they did their poem, she had each of the kids tell how old they were, where they would be going to school the following year (preschool or kindergarten) and what they wanted to be when they grew up. Ethan said he wanted to be Batman. ( : It got a good laugh from everyone.

The carnival kicked off with a special lunch and then, the parents enjoyed chatting and Ms. Betsy had her sons and some of the older kids running various game stations for the carnival. The kids earned prizes at each station (which is always a hit), but probably the most popular spot was the blow up slide.

The kids all had a fabulous time, for Brynn, it might've even been considered a hair raising experience. ( :

Congratulations to Ethan and you should see Lydia's hair on a trampoline. Looks like she's on an Apollo space mission.
Love your blog.
