STRETCHING SUPPORT

Ethan had a fabulous date today with Grandma Judie & Grandpa Steve. They picked him up at 11:00 this morning, and he didn't return until they brought pizza over for dinner at 6pm. Talk about one lucky kid...they played with him all day long - and from what I hear, they it was a day full of a lot of activities. Thank you Mom & Dad W. (*NOTE: Grandma Judie called me to tell me that while they were eating lunch today, they were having a conversation about how I was a good cook or something, to which Ethan replied "yeah, better than you." Not the most polite, or true statement...but at least he loves my cooking. For the record, Grandma is a fabulous cook as well.)

Scot & Sarah are training to do a bike race in Durango over Memorial Day. It's a 50 mile race...but the entire race is uphill (yikes). Scot rode for an hour and 40 min. today, and after dinner - he was trying to do a little stretching. Ethan, who has watched and helped Sarah with our post workout stretches. Tonight, he took it upon himself and helped Scot do some stretching. It was adorable. At one point, he was completely balanced on Scot's leg.

As for Brynn, she loves to jump to me from the coffee table in the family room. She started doing this a few days ago, and today, after I had caught her a few times - I remembered that I needed to check something on my computer. I began to type something and Brynn kept calling out "Mama, jump". When I didn't respond right away, Brynn climbed down off the table, closed the top of my laptop and then looked at me and said "Mama - JUMP." I got the message loud and clear. Hilarious.

The kids try to stretch with Daddy here too. How'd the race go?
