BEAR-Y GOOD DAY

Ethan's friend Emy had her 4th birthday party today at Build a Bear Workshop. It was our first time at a build a bear store. The kids all selected their own friend to stuff - many of them chose bunnies, bears or dogs, and then they were off for the stuffing. They go all out - and unlike the tin man, each of these fluffy critters got a heart (nice touch). After a good bath, Ethan searched the store for an outfit that he wanted me to buy. He selected the Batman costume. Truth be told - he liked that more than the dog - but Brynn was smitten with it all.

Brynn loved everything about that place. She carried around the display bears that she found throughout the store, so before leaving, we stuffed a monkey for her too. Everyone left happy - which was nice.

Tonight, Ethan was exhausted. As I was putting him to bed, I snuggled up to him and gave him a kiss. Shortly after my kiss, I saw him rubbing his face and joking asked if he was wiping it off...to which he replied "No, it's already in my heart...I'm just rubbing it in." Is this kid for real? He just knows how to melt a mom's heart. I love you bug.
