SLACKIN'

I haven't been great at keeping up with my blog for quite some time now, but that will all soon change...I'm determined to be better for the sake of my kids. Here's just a small taste of what I've missed:

Ethan:
- The kid is hilarious. Everything about him has personality, even his socks. ( :
- Ethan trying to console Brynn after I didn't get her a princess snow globe at Target
E: "Brynn, tell me how you're feeling. Just talk to me - tell me what's wrong...what are you so concerned about?"
Brynn: Crying and pointing back towards the direction of the aisle we'd left
E: "I'm so sorry Brynnie, I'm so so sorry little munches." (munches is a nickname that Scot and JD gave Brynn when she was born - I was not onboard, but Ethan was...)

Brynn:
- She is such a climber. I don't remember Ethan being anything like this, and I mean ANYTHING. She's constantly on the table, in drawers, on the office desk, pushing buttons on the computer, sticking things in the printer, emptying drawers, pulling laundry (folded laundry mind you) out of laundry baskets, getting into the laundry baskets, biting erasers off pencils, redecorating rooms with items the moment I move on to clean up another recently redecorated room, climbing up on the side of the bathtub (in the MBR), throwing dramatic temper tantrums that stop with little to no effort, undressing herself and trying to redress herself with something - anything else she finds.
- She loves little Cuties (clementines).
- She loves to put lotion on herself, as well as lipgloss, chapstick, and insists that as I'm doing my make up, that I not forget to use the brushes on her face too.
- She loves hats, accessories, shoes (she often wakes up in the morning, and almost instantly wants shoes or boots on)
- She is a little flirt. She tilts her head to the side and bats her eyes and talks to anyone that will pay attention. She THRIVES on attention, and the child gets tons of it.
- Her eyes are the most beautiful bright blue.
- She's getting a bunch of teeth, so she's drooling and her nose is runny - a wicked combination.

Naturally, this isn't everything, but it's a taste. I'm so lucky to be their mom...I'm loving every minute.

They are very, very cute! By the way, I simply stopped folding laundry. Saved time.
