FLAT TIRE

Sarah has been watching my friend Liz's four kids while she and her husband John are traveling in Paris and Geneva. Tonight, Sarah was taking the kids to dinner for Ben's birthday when she got a flat in Liz's Sequoia. Funny thing is that on Sunday, we parked next to Liz's car and Scot mentioned that her back tires were looking pretty bald. (Well, it wasn't THAT funny considering that Sarah actually got a flat...).
When Sarah called, we were just leaving Costa Vida, so we told her to stay put and we would come to her rescue. We followed her down the main road to a side street where we could change the tire. I use the word "we" very loosely because it was really Scot. My hero. Lucky for us, Ethan's letter of the week was "H", so I happened to have his show and share in my bag still - which happened to be a headlamp. Genius...that part was thanks to me. ( : Sarah was clearly dressed to change a flat...so we decided our work was better suited behind the camera.

While we were outside getting things changed, Ethan and Brynn were in the back of my car watching their own shows. They were extremely patient.

Good for Sarah for watching the kids in the first place and good for you for having a headlamp. Hope it wasn't too cold.
