- Ethan freed himself from house again first thing this morning. He loves to be outside (and with weather like we've been having, I can't blame him), and after a bit of time with his pal Dylan sitting on the back step, he was up and on the go. I stepped inside to grab him a tissue and went back out only to find that he was nowhere to be seen. Thankfully, we have a fence now so I don't have to worry AS much (but he's in the process of figuring out how to open the latch on the gates, so my sanity won't last long). I walked to the side of the house calling for him and saw the stripes of his pajama pants peeking out by the a/c unit. He peeked around and saw me coming & I said "Ethan, you little stinker - come here". He got a big smile on his face, walked back across the rocks (barefoot mind you) & ran down the path towards the door to the garage, then turned around and with a smirk on his face said "Come get me". I love this kid...he's got great material.
- Tonight I was making chicken tacos for dinner & I kept hearing him say "Ethan taste it" as I was cooking the meat. I explained to him that he would have to wait until the meat was cooked, but he could taste the guacamole. He got a big smile on his face and I grabbed a spoon - he got a little taste and then said "Ummmm, more Cacamole". Occassionally he'd get out the word guacamole, but I much preferred cacamole, mainly because it's just so darn cute (I even called my parents, who go by Gramma Lydia & Grampa Warren, just so they could enjoy it too - they weren't disappointed!).
