I was tagged by my sister in law Becky & my friend Kathy, so I'll mix the questions so I'm sure to answer everything...(how's that for thorough).
First thing you said? Something really clever like "Hi, I'm Kris. Nice to meet you."
First date? We met at Wooglins Deli for lunch. Yup, the safest date possible for a blind date - LUNCH. ( :
How long did you date? 12 months and 22 days
Where did you get married? SLC, UT
How did the reception go? Everything was perfect. Everyone told me that there would be something that would go wrong, but nothing ever did. We loved every minute of it.
Where did we go on our honeymoon? Maui, Hawaii for 12 days.
How old is he? 36
Who eats more sweets? Scot
Who said I love you first? He did.
Who is taller? He is.
Who can sing better? Ummmm, not sure - he's got a great voice* but I would probably go with me. (*as I've noted before, he was in the show choir in high school - it wasn't something he actually WANTED to do, but...he did it).
Who is smarter? He is.
Who does the laundry? Me.
Who pays the bills? He does.
Who sleeps on the right side? Me (I tend to sleep on whatever side of the bed is closest to the door because I'm the one that gets up with Ethan...that and my mom always slept on the side closest to the door just in case one of us needed anything during the night.)
Who mows the lawn? Scot. I've never mowed an entire lawn in my life (I'm not bragging about that - it's just the way it is).
Who cooks dinner? Oh, that would definitely be me (though Scot does know how to cook a thing or two).
Who drives? Typically me - mainly because Scot drives so much during the work day that by the time he gets home, he's not interested in sitting behind the wheel.
Who is more stubborn? He would probably say me, but there's no way I'm more stubborn than him (and that's the truth).
Who kissed who first? He kissed me.
Who asked who out first? We were set up on a blind date by our mutual friend, Jessica Blackwell (now Larson). We arranged our first date (lunch) over e-mail if I remember correctly.
Who proposed? He did while we were in Park City for his brother Rob & Roberta's wedding. I didn't see the proposal coming (I wondered why our conversation had become so serious all of a sudden...go figure).
Who has more siblings? me. I have 5 and Scot has 3
Who wears the pants? Scot...though I can give him a run for his money occassionally.

Ummm, I hate to ruin the memories of your "perfect wedding". Maybe everything was perfect for you, but I do remember being the only single girl left to catch your bouquet (what a treat) and upon catching it felt a metal wire puncture my hand. Maybe perfect for you, but I'm scarred for life. Other than that, you're right...it was a perfect day. ;)
That is such a great picture and your reception was lovely. You looked amazing, not that you don't always....thanks for the fun read.
That was a great post. It was fun to read about you two. I love your wedding pic.
Beautiful photo. That is the very spot where I was proposed to.
I love that picture. Thanks for inviting me to be the next person tagged.... however, I was already tagged for this, and well, my answers would not really change. So you can view my responses in my archived posts:)
