TRIP TO BOISE

6/9- 6/13 Ethan and I headed off on a trip to Boise and SLC while Scot was in Jackson Hole at the Orvis Flyfishing Guide School. Lucky for us, Grandma and Grandpa Woolley were off to Ireland and Switzerland on the same day, so we car pooled to the airport (with the help of our handsome chauffeur Grandpa Madden). Here are some of our highlights from Boise:

Shopping.

The day we arrived was our shopping day. This was clearly not the highlight for the kids, but it was for Mom, Sarah, Ang and me. We went in search of Mom's Birthday and Mother's Day gifts - of which we were very successful. The entertainment factor was watching McKinley and Sage hide in the rounders of clothes...they were very very careful, but it was adorable to see their little feet under the clothes and hear their giggles while we pretended to look for them. Before we went into the mall, McKinley was sporting 2 of her hats that she found in the car. We opted to not have her wear them in, but wanted to make sure the fashion forward thinking was documented.

Cousins, cousins, cousins.

Ethan had a blast playing with McKinley and Sage. I think they did it all; played on the swingset & in the sandbox in Gramma and Grampa's backyard, hosed themselves and eachother down, played the piano, rode all the fun rides at Chuck E. Cheese (this is the only version of a monster truck Ethan will ever be driving if I have my way), visited Great Grandma Hansen, went on walks, checked out Grandpa's office, played with blocks and every other available toy, emptied the videos off the shelves...it was a whirlwind of activity but so much fun.

Thanks for making our visit so much fun. We love you!
