SHARK BITES

5/23 Grandma and Grandpa Madden took Judie, Ethan and me to lunch today at the Fresh Fish Co. for a Mother's Day treat. They have dozens of large fish tanks throughout the restaurant, and we happened to be seated in front of a wall full of them. Ethan absolutely LOVED being there, and as an extra bonus they left this shark and some crayons at his spot to keep him entertained. Mid way through our lunch I looked over to see that Ethan was feeding his shark pieces of the sourdough bread that I had broken up and placed in front of him. He was so nice to share.

Scot took me out to J. Alexanders for dinner tonight and then downtown to see the broadway musical WICKED. We had amazing seats and I absolutely LOVED it. Scot liked it too, but told me he had bought the tickets mainly because he knew that I would like the show & not because he loves musicals. So thoughtful! It was his first broadway show, and I think all in all it was a great experience for him (though he did later mention that he thought he'd need a few years before he'd be able to sit through another one). Thank you Scot for taking me to see WICKED. I loved every minute of it. (It's funny, but I think we saw the same cast that Rachel and Becky recently saw in Houston. We'll have to compare notes). Special thanks to Steve and Judie for watching Ethan so we could go out for an entire evening without any worries. We are so grateful!
