5/22 Thankfully there aren't large groups of children following him through our house yet, but the whistling sound is a common thing around our house these days. Ethan found my hospital mug & straw in a kitchen cupboard one day and thought it looked like a fun toy (what doesn't these days?). He pulled the straw free and soon realized that it had the ability to make noise whether he was breathing in or out. I know some of you have heard and commented on the piper in the background of our phone conversations, and let me assure you - he loves to make the music as much as you like to hear it.
His other favorite thing to do these days is talk to people (or pretend like he's talking to people) on the phone. He typically talks for quite some time before handing the phone off to me for a brief comment. I wonder where he's learned that? Hmmmm, guess we'll never know.
